This is a hands-on activity that allows students to practice in pairs learning about macromolecules. In this activity, students will practice identifying the function, monomer, polymer, elements, and examples of each type of macromolecule (specifically carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and proteins) with a partner.

What will students be doing?: Students will set up their table about the 4 major macromolecules (carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and proteins) using an sample example table presented. Next students will fill out a table regarding each macrmolecules' function, monomer, polymer, elements, and examples by looking at their card setup. Next students will quiz each other on the table.

This is a digital product.  It is a pdf document.

Recommendations: I highly recommend laminating the cards so they can be used over and over again.
